A QuickBooks Online alternative
Built for the firm, not one business at a time
QuickBooks Online is software for one business, bought once for each client. Mastro keeps every client your firm serves in one place, with their portal, at a price per client.

Questions
Before you switch
Is Mastro an add-on to QuickBooks Online?
No. Mastro replaces it: the client's books live in Mastro, and QuickBooks is only where they come from, once.
Who is Mastro for?
CPA firms and bookkeeping practices that keep the books of many small businesses, and those businesses, through their portal.
What does it cost next to QuickBooks Online?
Bookkeeping is $39 a client a month, against $59.50 for Essentials or $98 for Plus through ProAdvisor. Two or more modules on a client cost less.
Does Mastro run payroll?
Yes, for employees in Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wyoming today. A client elsewhere can keep its own provider, and Mastro posts its payroll.
What doesn't Mastro do?
It doesn't move money or file returns under its own name. The client's bank and Stripe account move money, and your firm files from what Mastro prepares.
Can I try it with one client?
Yes. The first 30 days are free with no card, and the move from QuickBooks is free for every client.
