Questions
How billing works
What counts as a client?
A client whose books your firm keeps and hasn't archived. Archived clients, and clients your firm can only read, cost nothing.
Can clients be on different levels?
Yes. Each client has its own level, which your firm's owners and admins can change, and your bill counts the clients at each one.
What happens when a client moves to Ledger?
What's already there stays usable: you can open, change, pay, and void it. New invoices, bills, and the like wait for Complete, and the client's recurring invoices and bills pause.
What happens mid-month?
Adding a client, archiving one, or changing its level mid-month is charged or credited for the rest of the month.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your firm can still read and export everything. Changing books and adding clients wait until you subscribe on the Billing page.
Does moving from QuickBooks cost extra?
No. Every client's migration is free, and each account's balance is checked against QuickBooks before you rely on it.
Will there be add-ons?
Modules for tax work are on the way. Each will be priced on its own and switched on only for the clients that need it.
